Our brand new hair soap bars…you asked for them so here they are! Traditional shampoo is made with synthetic detergents, cold process soap is not. We have formulated these to be nourishing to the hair but cleansing enough to help keep build up away.

Available in two types: one for normal/oily hair and one for dry hair. For dry hair we’ve used a rice water for protein and added jojoba oil to a formula that has a little more leftover oils to nourish hair. For normal to oily hair, we’ve subbed the water out for apple cider vinegar and used scalp cleansing essential oils.

If you’re new to using soap instead of shampoo, here’s the deal: it might not be for everyone. You will likely go through a process of acclimation where your hair can look stringy or oily for the first couple of washes but hang tight and ride it out for a few more. Rinsing with an apple cider vinegar rinse afterward is said to help balance ph and is especially helpful with hard water.

*always test for allergies first on a small patch of skin
*if scalp irritation appears, discontinue use.
